What would the Mediation Fee cover?
The fees would cover all preparatory calls and emails, the day of Mediation, follow up phone call and reasonable expenses. Any additional expenses (outside Greater London) would be discussed at the time of confirmation.

How much information is shared with the Referrer or Line Manager?
As mediation is a confidential process, no information can be shared with the referrer or line manager about the mediation unless both parties agree to this. If neither parties give permission to do so, the only details that will be shared with the referrer or manager will be that the mediation took place and whether agreement was reached.
Can the parties bring someone for support?
One of the aims of workplace mediation is to encourage both parties to actually listen to each other and to start a constructive, open and honest dialogue. The intervention or presence of another person can be disruptive and unhelpful and does not allow each party to hear the impact and perspective directly from the other party.
What happens if there is cause for complaint?
I will always do my utmost to be professional, impartial and provide a confidential mediation service. If you have any cause to think otherwise, please raise your concerns in the first instance during the mediation. If you are still unhappy, please put your complaint in writing within 7 days of the mediation to email@example.com. I will respond to you in writing within 30 days.
If you are still unsatisfied with my response, you may take your complaint further and contact The Civil Mediation Council.
